See me, feel me

I haven't been paying too much attention, but this blog reached its 3 millionth eyeball over the weekend, according to Google. I think it means page views. Not that it matters in the grand scheme of things.

It's been a most interesting four and a half years since I picked up this hobby again during the time of Covid. It seems like we're now turning around and heading back that way, doesn't it?

It took about 17 months to rack up the second million views, but only 14 months and change to rack up the third million, and so I guess readership is growing. Always nice to know. Or maybe it's just spambots picking up the pace.

At this rate, I may hit 4 million eyeballs before '25 is out, Lord willing and the creek don't rise. I hope that something posted here will make some day of yours better.

  1. Joe South reference. Good one! Obviously, you're a man of exceptional musical taste.

    1. It was an accident. The only Joe South record I ever had was "Games People Play."

    2. It's an old, old saying, and Cash beat Joe South to it by quite a bit, but God bless them all.

  2. I started reading your blog back in like 2009 or so. You run the best blog in the city and I think with the failure of more "main stream" media you're going to pick up increasing viewership.

  4. You are the only local news I read at this point. I’ve been a fan since 2010.

The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog@comcast.net, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
