The Thursday/Friday underdog game post

The family's here. One pie's cooled, and there's more where that came from. We're almost ready to feast.

And watch a little football. Or even more than a little. There are NFL underdogs, large and medium-sized, going at it in three games today (Thursday), and there's another game tomorrow (Friday). Players in our charity underdog game will be weighing in with picks as the gridiron contests get going.

This post, which is originally going up Thursday morning, will be updated when I can get to it throughout Thursday and Friday, with the relevant action in our game.

The first bird 'dog of the weekend has drawn the attention of three players:

10  CHICAGO at Detroit (Thursday, 9:30 a.m. PST) - Cliff, Bad Picker, Linda

The second game of the day will kick off at 1:30 West Coast time.

UPDATE, 1:40 p.m.: Da Bearss provided thrills but won no points for our players. In the afternoon game, we have a live one:

UPDATE, 8:25 p.m.: Alas, the G-Men failed to produce. In the nightcap:

UPDATE, 8:40 p.m.: Miami did not win. The next game is tomorrow at noon.

UPDATE, Friday, 12:02 p.m.: Nobody chose Vegas in the Friday game. We pick up again on Sunday.
