Here are the Week 9 underdog picks

The Big Daddies of American pro football are at it again today, and the players in our charity underdog game have cast their votes, if you'll pardon the expression. Our crew of savvy gridiron observers say the following 'dogs (in caps) will win their games outright. And appropriately enough, there's quite a difference of opinion this week:
9 DENVER at Baltimore - Buster Dog-las, Oredogger
8.5 TAMPA BAY at Kansas City (Monday, pick stil due Sunday, 10:00 a.m. PST) - SteveO, pdxTrojan
7.5 LAS VEGAS at Cincinnati - Stephen F., Annie B.
7 CAROLINA vs. New Orleans - Andypdx
5 INDIANAPOLIS at Minnesota - Zen Cohac, Kosar19, Gordon
3.5 GREEN BAY vs. Detroit - PDXileinOmaha, Linda, John, Mojo
3.5 NEW ENGLAND at Tennessee - Shoeshine Boy, Bad Picker, pitter patter
2.5 DALLAS at Atlanta - Cliff
2 CLEVELAND vs. Los Angeles Chargers - Air
1.5 HOUSTON at New York Jets (Thursday, unsuccessful) - Portland Pandemonium
1.5 SEATTLE vs. Los Angeles Rams - Roger Goodell
No one adopted these lowly mongrels:
7.5 JACKSONVILLE at Philadelphia
6 MIAMI at Buffalo
3.5 NEW YORK GIANTS vs. Washington
1 CHICAGO at Arizona
IMPORTANT NOTE: This post has been updated to show all picks for the week.
This is the ninth week of 21 in our game, and there will likely be significant movement in our ranks between now and the end of the season. Our latest standings (ignore the asterisks) are here.
It's getting to be that time of year when the weather can start to become a factor, and that's my favorite kind of football. But in front of the TV, it's climate-controlled. Enjoy the games, all.
UPDATE, 1:40 p.m.: Carolina comes from behind to win in the early games.
UPDATE, 5:00 p.m.: No winners among the afternoon 'dogs.

The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog@comcast.net, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
