No escaping it

The election porn is coming in by text message now. Years ago, when I was a Democratic Party committee person for one term, I foolishly put my cell number on a signup sheet one fateful night. I'm sure that's why I get so many phone pitches for one political cause or another. You can text "STOP" all you want, but they keep coming. That and all those calls from "Spam Risk."

Anyway, today I got this beauty of a text about an upcoming ballot measure:

I agree with the message 100 percent, but I can't help wondering, what's she looking at?

  3. Were the same people who put measure 118 on the ballot also responsible for measure 110? One begins to think they're out to destroy Oregon.

The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog@comcast.net, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
