Six players score in Underdog Week 1
Our charity pro football underdog game kicked off for another year today. Six of our 23 'dognosticators got on the board with wins by Pittsburgh and Dallas. Nobody had the day's most awesome 'dog, New England, who would have earned 9 for somebody. But a win's a win. If you got 3 points every week, in the end you'd have 63. Last season's winner had 54½.
No one's got the Monday night pooch, and so here are the standings at the end of Week 1:

My records are showing six players still unpaid. Because of some earlier email incompetence on my part, I'm extending the deadline to this Saturday, the 14th. If you need instructions on how to get your entry fee in, send a query to dogpdx24@gmail.com, and I'll send you the lowdown. If your fee is not in hand by Saturday, your picks for Weeks 1 and 2 won't count.
