  1. Waltz asserts that Socialism’s a harmless community activity. That offends me

    1. First of all, you spelled Walz's name incorrectly. Second, you wouldn't know socialism (note: not capitalized) if it bit you in the butt.

    2. Freeloading kids and their school lunches. And women having ownership of their bodies. Oh the humanity!

That money should be going in subsidies to oil companies and big farms paid for (as if they care about the paid for part) by tariffs on consumers.

  3. Walz feels good, right. It's still early, but I think what we see happening is something bigger than a candidate switch per se, more of a tonal reset. Before, it was old Joe telling us how scary Donald was and that everything was on the line; now it’s a comparatively young Harris/Walz telling us those guys are stuffed shirts and sillier than scary, and (early yet) people seem to be eating it up. It’s been a long decade (by which I mean the years from roughly 2015 to now). Maybe it’s time to just go outside and sit in the sun for a change.

The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog@comcast.net, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
