Ep 3
The Democratic Party convention's third night was quite a show. From what I could see, everyone had a good time. Nancy Pelosi's teeth stayed in, although it was a close call at times. And Bill Clinton did what he loves most, which is hear himself speak.
Most importantly, Tim Walz showed what a fine figure he cuts, and what a great orator he can be.
The rest of the festivities were mostly entertainment. And high-end production – there's no doubt where Hollywood's loyalties lie. At one point Stevie Wonder got up and played and sang "Higher Ground." If that doesn't make an impression, I can't help you.
Tonight the thing wraps up with the nominee, then it's on to the battle. It is going to be a brutal one, and so I hope she has a good night.

The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog@comcast.net, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
