Well, I guess old Orange Caligula is going on trial in a criminal case in New York today. But it's hardly a great day for the rule of law. The more trouble he gets into, the better his polling numbers get for the upcoming election.
And as readers may recall, I have grave doubts about the viability of the prosecution's legal theory in today's case. I hope they prove me wrong, but I wouldn't bet that they're going to get a guilty verdict against Donnie Boy. And if he's acquitted, I wouldn't bet against his being elected in November.
If there is a god, America must have done something to really piss her off. The man is Beelzebub, plain and simple. Anyway, I'll enjoy the circus while it's running, but pardon me while I brace for a really bad ending.
The “trial” will expose a lot of under reporting
ReplyDeleteTotally ridiculous case by another clueless Soros' DA. And Trump is an actor working for the big money boys and this looks like a scam to get people to support him. All the world's a stage.
ReplyDeleteThe theory is solid, but the connecting facts are the tricky part. We'll see whether the prosecution can connect the dots to the jury's satisfaction. It will only take one skeptic to kill the felony (the misdemeanors should be pretty easy to get). If he gets off it could help him, though the disclosures along the way could counteract that. Still think the J 6 trial could go if the SCt gets the immunity bit more or less right.
ReplyDeleteWith apologies to Lewis Carroll. “The proper order of things is often a mystery to the those with “Trump derangement.”
ReplyDeleteTrump derangement? Is Trump's dementia so unique that doctors have named it after him? A lot of dementia patients slur words and lose their train of thought, so maybe there are other symptoms that add up to something more poorly understood. I'm no expert.
ReplyDeleteInteresting how his vice president, his defense secretary, his attorney general, 2 of his chiefs of staff, his counsel, his national security advisor, 2 press secretaries, his UN ambassador, his communications director and a White House aide refuse to support him (and counting) and yet he still holds the GOP and his cult by the balls. Maybe “interesting” is the wrong word. And yet we still have morons laughing about “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”
ReplyDelete. . .we still have morons. . ."You can fool some of the people all of the time"
DeleteUniparty exists for a reason.
DeleteSo we’re going with felon and Trump BFF Steve Bannon buzzwords now?
DeleteSome news analysts suggest Trump can be "saved" by one juror. Is that the case in New York? A hung jury because one juror refuses to convict?
ReplyDeleteThe legend media talking head will be confused if the New York jury doesn’t convict
DeleteIs that a mad lib or some kind of typing exercise?
