Here are the Week 3 underdogs
With a couple of rounds of games under their belts, players in our charity pro football underdog game may be starting to see who's who among the teams in the NFL. Or so they may think.
The oddsmakers are seeing some things, too, which makes for this fascinating slate of Week 3 underdogs:
13 CHICAGO at Kansas City
12 ARIZONA vs. Dallas
10.5 NEW Y0RK GIANTS at San Francisco (Thursday, 5:15 p.m. PDT)
9.5 HOUSTON at Jacksonville
8 INDIANAPOLIS at Baltimore
6.5 DENVER at Miami
6.5 WASHINGTON vs. Buffalo
5.5 CAROLINA at Seattle
5.5 TAMPA BAY vs. Philadelphia (Monday, pick still due Sunday, 10:00 a.m. PDT)
3.5 TENNESSEE at Cleveland
3 ATLANTA at Detroit
3 NEW YORK JETS vs. New England
2 NEW ORLEANS at Green Bay
1.5 LOS ANGELES RAMS at Cincinnati (Monday, pick still due Sunday, 10:00 a.m. PDT)
1 LOS ANGELES CHARGERS at Minnesota
1 LAS VEGAS vs. Pittsburgh
A couple of reminders: If you want the Thursday night game as your pick for the week, you must get the pick in to dogpdx23@gmail.com by kickoff time of that game. If you want that game as your backup pick for the week, you must have both (or all) your picks (primary and backup) in by that time.
All other picks are due at 10:00 a.m. PDT on Sunday.
And here's one last pitch for new players! There's still time to join our action. It's all for a good cause – maybe your favorite charity. The rules are here; email me at dogpdx23@gmail.com for instructions on how to enter (it takes $20). We have 26 paid players at this point, and a half-dozen of them still have no points. Our leader has 12, and as you can see from these lines, that lead could disappear if just one outrageous 'dog comes through.
The standings are here, but note the update at the end of that post: Mojo picked up a couple of points on Pittsburgh and moved into third place last night.
Good luck, players!

The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog@comcast.net, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
