Jaime loses another 277
They posted new numbers on the Washington primary results in the past hour. Jaime Herrera Beutler's lead over Joe Kent is down from 1,945 last evening to 1,668. JHB's margin shrank by another 277 as an additional 3,169 votes were counted.
There's been no change in the Clark County numbers as of noon today. They still have an estimated 45,000 votes to count there. Clark is the heart of the district, and Herrera Beutler is ahead there. Lewis and Skamania Counties, where Kent prevailed, are virtually finished counting.

The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog@comcast.net, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
