Sunday punchways
Here's a sad story about a family who didn't get the memo about what inner Portland has become. It would be a lovely place if only it were civilized.
Maybe today they'll try their luck again and take their bikes to the Springwater Corridor.
Where were the park rangers? The Eastbank Esplanade is actually their turf. Obviously, we need to lay off some cops and hire more rangers.
The suspect was booked and released, of course. He's having a nice day, I'm sure, looking for the next five-year-old girl he can repeatedly punch in the head.
You don't get to see his mugshot. They don't publish those any more. It isn't fair to people like him. And so you don't even get to see whom to steer clear of. Thank you, Tina Kotek!
