Mikey's internship isn't going well
It sounded like a good idea. Teach those dirty cops a lesson by electing an outsider to be Multnomah County district attorney. I went for it. Lots of us did.
Boy, was that ever a boo-boo.
So here's the latest: The people in the office who know what they're doing continue to leave in droves. Criminals are escaping consequences. Crime victims are getting screwed.
The new boss' working relationship with the women lawyers in the office seems to be particularly problematic. Hmmmmm.
Oh, well. We've got two and half more years of this guy, unless something unexpected happens. Maybe Governor Kohoutek can appoint him to some cushy other job somewhere. But then, most assuredly, we need to go back to Square 1.
