Mail's in! A member of our household got a pair of election porn flyers the other day:
They're disguised as "call your state legislator" and "tell us what issue matters most to you," but these mailers are pretty obviously meant as a turnoff against the Democrats in November, particularly Tina Kohoutek. But did they come come from the Machine Gun Johnson campaign, or from the Republican Death Cult and Church of the Sacred Sperm?
The return address is something called "The Coaltion for Safe, Healthy and Prosperous Communities" on Northwest 23rd in Portland. I'm not sure I even want to know who that really is. "Coalitions" creep me out. They're usually a small group of extremists. But this group has money, obviously.
Given that they're pounding on inflation and crime, and dissing the Legislature, of which Johnson has been a key part, my guess is that it's the Republicans. They wasted a few nickels preaching to this house, that's for sure. It will be a cold day in hell when we ever vote for any of them, for anything.

The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog@comcast.net, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
