A rug to sweep it all under
It's an old, sad story: Portland, the city in which basic civilization has largely broken down, continues to rebuild its airport, over and over, in an unending cycle. By now the runways are paved in platinum.
But there's the carpet, oh the all-important carpet. Which carpet should they use? One of the pressing stories covered by our daily (sort of) newspaper (sort of), here.
It's another gift brought to us by the Port of Portland. In a country deep in a supply chain crisis, they don't seem to be stepping up their game much. But man, that carpet, look at that carpet.

The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog@comcast.net, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
