Whew

It is a relief to read that Justice Steve Breyer has decided to retire from the Supreme Court. He's been a great justice, but the country needs him to step down this year so that President Biden can appoint a younger person to succeed him. Once we get to 2023, the Turtle From Hell, who will probably be the majority leader of the God-forsaken United States Senate again, will make sure that no nominee from the Biden White House will ever be confirmed.

The three people that Trump put on the Court are turning out to be every bit as bad as expected. And the damage they will do to this country is just getting started.

Of course, the heartburn over Breyer's seat is nowhere near over. Emperors Manchin and Sinema must be placated. God help this nation. But thank you, Justice Breyer, for everything you've done, including this.
