Stepping up
So often we see things that are obviously wrong with our country, and wonder, "Why doesn't somebody with money do something about it?" Well, here's an example of somebody actually stepping up. Bazillionaire Mark Cuban, best known for owning the Dallas Mavericks basketball team, has started his own online pharmacy that's going to offer prescription drugs at discount prices. It doesn't take insurance, but apparently in some cases it may be cheaper than your co-pay. And it'll still make him a profit, without gouging.
The politicians in Washington are mostly owned by the drug companies. And that's on both sides of the aisle. But Cuban doesn't seem to be owned by much of anybody. So he's going for it on drug pricing. Good for him.

The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog@comcast.net, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
