The media just can't stop talking about the omicron variant of Covid. I guess it helps their ratings. To me the situation does not seem much different from what it was several Greek letters ago. You have to be careful if you want to stay alive.

As far as I can tell, the latest mutation is more contagious than even the hideous delta variant. It's infecting younger people at a higher rate than previous versions. It's more likely to break through vaccines and evade other immunities. But it may not make people quite as sick.

Am I getting that right? Okay then. Masks, distancing, avoid crowds of strangers. It still sounds a lot like 18 months ago.

Except for the shots. Get all the shots.
