Three 'dog day
Thanksgiving Day gives us no fewer than three pro football games. I guess we're all supposed to be thankful that it's not us on the field killing ourselves. But it also means that players in our charity underdog game have three chances to pick up early points for the week.
Picks are due at game time, and I'll relay what comes in by updating this post throughout the day as the contests kick off.
The first game:
3 DETROIT vs. Chicago - No one chose the lowly Lions.
UPDATE, 12:41 p.m.: The Lions failed – a walk-off field goal beat them by 2.
UPDATE, 1:35 p.m.: We have four players staking their claim on the second game:
7.5 LAS VEGAS at Dallas - Eric, Meow, DB, CrimsonCrud
Good luck, players!
UPDATE, 5:30 p.m.: The Raiders won in overtime, a big score for our four brave pickers.
In the late game:
5.5 NEW ORLEANS vs. Buffalo - Paul
UPDATE, 9:30 p.m.: I ate a lot. Oh, and the Saints lost badly. More action on Sunday.

The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog@comcast.net, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
