The 'dogs that got away
Five underdogs have won their games in pro football this weekend (so far). Only one of our players had one of them: Meow picked Carolina (although earlier I erroneously listed him as having chosen Jacksonville – I had Jacksonville on my mind, stupidly).
I think I got my cat-'dogs mixed up.
Anyway, all of our players' contests are now concluded. There was a tie game today, but under the official rules, particularly Example 3, a tie earns no points.
Which means that our standings are now as follows:
1 | Buster Douglas | 34 |
2 | Gordon | 33 |
3 | PDXileinOmaha | 30 |
4 | Mad Dog | 28 |
5 | pdxTrojan | 27 |
6 | JC | 26.5 |
6 | Kosar19 | 26.5 |
8 | Mojo | 25 |
9 | Evil O | 23 |
10 | Meow | 21.5 |
11 | No Chance in Hell | 19.5 |
12 | DB | 19 |
12 | Eric | 19 |
14 | CrimsonCrud | 16.5 |
15 | Micah | 15 |
16 | TJ | 14.5 |
17 | Bad Picker | 14 |
18 | Drew | 11.5 |
19 | Annie B. | 6.5 |
20 | Paul | 6 |
21 | SteveO | 3.5 |
Nobody said it was going to be easy. New lines will be posted here on Tuesday.
UPDATE, Monday night: And the last 'dog of the week, San Francisco, also wins convincingly. Again, nobody here on it.

The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog@comcast.net, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
