Help from whelps
Indy, Cincy, and Tenn'ee all scored for our charity underdog players today. The G-Men of New Jersey prevailed, too, but none of our gang had selected them. And so as of Sunday night, things are pretty bunched up at the top of our standings:
| Buster Douglas | 22.5 |
| PDXileinOmaha | 21 |
| pdxTrojan | 21 |
| JC | 20.5 |
| Mad Dog | 20.5 |
| Kosar19 | 20 |
| Gordon | 19.5 |
| DB | 19 |
| Mojo | 18.5 |
| Evil O | 16.5 |
| Eric | 15 |
| Bad Picker | 14 |
| No Chance in Hell | 13 |
| CrimsonCrud | 11 |
| Meow | 11 |
| Micah | 9 |
| TJ | 8.5 |
| Drew | 5.5 |
| SteveO | 3.5 |
| Annie B. | 0 |
| Paul | 0 |
The week is not quite over yet. PDXileinOmaha, currently sitting in a tie for second place, is looking to pick up 5 points with the Seachickens tomorrow evening (which I wouldn't mind, for other reasons). Other than that, you're looking at the standings after seven weeks. There are 11 more weeks to go in the regular season, and 14 more in our game.
CORRECTION, Thursday afternoon 10/28: Players earned 3.5, not 3.0, for Indy's win, and so Evil O, Eric, Kosar19, and No Chance in Hell arer each entitled to another 0.5. These corrections are reflected in the next published standings, here.

The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog@comcast.net, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
