You can't spell Oregonian without Onion
Another absurd chapter in Portland City Hall history has come to a close. Remember when then-commissioner Chloe Eudaly was trying to fine the federal government for erecting a fence in a bike lane alongside the courthouse due to recurring riots? Too funny.
The fine got up to $11 million, apparently, but the city has finally given up trying to collect any of it. The Oregonian has the story (behind the paywall, for now at least) here.

The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog@comcast.net, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
