The Conference of Champions
UCLA eliminated No. 2 seed Alabama from the national men's basketball tournament this evening. It was a thrilling overtime win. This result ensures that the Pac-12 conference will have three of the teams in the next round, which is the Elite Eight.
No. 11 seed UCLA joins No. 12 seed Oregon State in that company. The Left Coast gets no respect, or they didn't until now.
The third Pac-12 team in the next round will be either No. 7 seed Oregon or No. 6 seed Southern Cal. Those guys are going at it now.
West Coast men's hoops rules this weekend, that's for sure. It gets a lot harder starting tomorrow, but tonight's a great night.

The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog@comcast.net, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
