Callin' the shots
The Oregon state health authorities have started up a new internet "dashboard," tracking how many doses of the Covid vaccine have been given out in the state, and in each county. It's here.
As of Sunday, which is the last date shown at this hour, only 4,475 shots had been recorded across the Beaver State. Only health care and nursing home workers had been vaccinated.
Apparently they started shooting up some elderly nursing home patients yesterday.
The website doesn't show everything you'd want to know about the immunization effort, but hey, it's something. While we wait, it's a place to go to visualize the happy day when we can stop the constant worry.

The platform used for this blog is awfully wonky when it comes to comments. It may work for you, it may not. It's a Google thing, and beyond my control. Apologies if you can't get through. You can email me a comment at jackbogsblog@comcast.net, and if it's appropriate, I can post it here for you.
