Wounds to heal

Here's an infuriating and sad development in the Portland protest saga. Donavan La Bella, the young man who was shot in the head and badly injured by a federal trooper at the Hatfield Courthouse on July 11, is back in the hospital with continuing medical problems resulting from the shooting. (Sorry, the Oregonian has a paywall up all of a sudden.) 

It never should have happened. But a lot of things shouldn't happen. Like the fake "homeland security" secretary blowing off a congressional subpoena. Congress needs to dust off its jail cell for that bag of sleaze.

Anyway, the family's still trying to raise some dough for La Bella's expenses, here. Sounds like it's going to be a long haul.
